The Emerging Geopolitical Risks to Energy Production

The New Geopolitics of Energy was this year’s main topic of the Atlantic Council’s flagship annual Global Energy Forum in Abu Dhabi.

The event was the premier international gathering of government, industry, and thought leaders to set the global energy agenda for the year and anticipate and respond to the dramatic changes in the world of energy.

Dr Carole Nakhle, CEO of Crystol Energy, spoke at the Roundtable Luncheon on the Emerging Geopolitical Risks to Energy Production*, along with:

  • Neil Brown, Director of ‎Policy and Research, KKR Global Institute;
  • Ana Palacio, Council of State and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain; and
  • Sue Saarnio, Acting Special Envoy and Coordinator for International Energy Affairs, US Department of State 

The session was moderated by Richard Morningstar, Founding Director and Chairman, Global Energy Center, Atlantic Council.
