Dr Carole Nakhle, CEO of Crystol Energy, was a speaker at the exclusive Arab Energy Club meeting, which was hosted by King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC), in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dr Nakhle gave a presentation on the long-term outlook of energy markets and implications for market structure, explaining how the energy transition will create new dynamics and a different market structure, where competition will be defined more by politics than economics.
HRH Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Salman, Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister, also joined the meeting, engaging with a detailed and candid discussion on oil markets, OPEC+ and Saudi Arabia’s energy plans.
