Crystol Energy CEO to moderate International Energy Week session on Africa’s Energy Transition

Crystol Energy is proud to announce that our CEO, Dr Carole Nakhle, will moderate a session at the Energy Institute’s International Energy Week this year, the flagship annual conference that brings together global leaders to shape the future of energy.

The session, titled “Africa’s energy transition on African terms: Gas, power and pragmatism”, will explore how African countries can advance energy goals that reflect local realities, development priorities, and the need for reliable power.

A long-standing contributor to the event, and a Fellow of the Energy Institute since 2020, Dr Nakhle previously served on the International Energy Week Board until last year and will lead a timely discussion with senior industry voices on the role of gas, the delivery of power systems, and the practical policy and investment choices needed to support real-world progress across African markets.

The panel features Tony Attah, MD and CEO, Renaissance Africa Energy Company, Effiong Okon, Director New Energy, Seplat Plc, and a senior representative from NNPC.

The session will take place on 11 February from 14:00 to 14:40 GMT.

International Energy Week promises another dynamic exchange of ideas and solutions, and Dr Nakhle’s participation reflects Crystol Energy’s commitment to advancing informed dialogue on the most critical issues shaping the global energy landscape.
