Dr Carole Nakhle, CEO of Crystol Energy and President of Access for Women in Energy (AccessWIE), was invited to give a career talk at BP’s Technology Center in Whitchurch Hill, England on 8th June 2018 as part of BP Inspire Talk series.
Dr Nakhle talked about the energy transition, the outlook of the oil and gas industry, as well as the skills shortage faced in this particular sector where existing rhetoric is not terribly appealing to graduates to build a long term career in the industry. She also stressed the importance of gender diversity, whilst she talked through her experience as the founder and director of AccessWIE.
