Brexit trade negotiations and growing debt in the developing world

In this interview given to France 24, Dr Carole Nakhle comments on the Brexit trade negotiations, arguing that negotiating during the Covid-19 pandemic has different dynamics than pre-crisis and a deal is a win-win situation for both the UK and EU.

She also addressed the issue of rising debt of developing countries, where the cost of borrowing is much higher than in the richer world and therefore requires a novel approach to tackle the problem before it causes long term structural damages in such economies.
