Dr. Carole Nakhle, CEO of Crystol Energy, is quoted in this article written published by the Azeri Report News Agency commenting on the outcomes of COP28 and the dynamics ahead of COP29 which will be held this year in Baku, Azerbaijan.
According to Dr. Nakhle scientists constantly warn us of the dangers of climate change, which will only worsen and become more notable if no serous actions are taken to curb greenhouse gas emissions.
She added COP hosting wasn’t intended solely for green energy producers/consumers, as fossil fuels use remains significant in every nation. Prior to COP28, various oil and gas producers hosted sessions, such as the Netherlands (COP6, 2000), Canada (COP11, 2005), Indonesia (COP13, 2007), and Qatar (COP18, 2012). Additionally, leaders of national energy companies chaired COPs, as was the case in Qatar.
