Crystol Energy CEO Dr Carole Nakhle returned to Kilkenny this year to speak at the renowned Kilkenomics festival. The event brings together economists, policy makers, energy experts and comedians. They explore serious global questions in a relaxed setting across the city theatres and pubs.
Over several days Dr Nakhle joined panels on energy security, economic resilience and the links between conflict and national budgets. Other sessions examined the race for rare earths and critical minerals and the outlook for the Australian economy. Speakers also explored new trade routes between Europe and Asia and Ireland search for a balance between growth, wellbeing and reliable energy supplies.
Crystol Energy is proud to contribute to Kilkenomics. The festival makes complex debates on energy and economics accessible to a broad public. The company thanks festival founder David McWilliams, director Naoise Nunn and the wider team in Kilkenny for another warm welcome. Their work hosts conversations that link local audiences with global trends.
