In this interview given to Naser El Tibi from Al Arabiyya TV channel, and from the halls of ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi, Dr Carole Nakhle, CEO of Crystol Energy discusses the oil and gas industry outlook. She argues that fears about climate change have left their mark on the industry and throughout the supply chain, prompting both national and international oil companies to reconsider their portfolio such as increasing the share of natural gas and renewable energy. The energy transition, however, will not happen overnight and investment in green projects is starting from a low base while investment in oil and gas will remain key to meeting the needs of world population in the coming decades.
