Christof Rühl, member of the Advisory Board of Crystol Energy and a Senior Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School and the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University, discusses the latest global economic developments in this weekly interview to the Gulf Intelligence.
Christof discusses the global financial markets and economy. He comments on the latest optimism seen in the markets, cautioning that the current euphoria also entails risks that could lead to higher prices and inflation rates, derailing the projected economic recovery.
Christof also comments on the EU-Russia relations which seem to be at a low point, the global oil demand rebound as well as the risks that could threaten it.
He is joined by Mike Muller, Head at Vitol Asia. Sean Evers, Managing Partner at the Gulf Intelligence, moderates the discussion.
