Natural gas crisis – why prices are soaring

In this interview to Lucas Proto from El Confidencial, Dr Carole Nakhle, CEO of Crystol Energy, discusses the reasons behind the recent soaring natural gas prices.

According to Dr Nakhle, the current crisis is the result of a combination of factors – from sheer market realities, to weather conditions, geopolitics and to some extent policy choices including those related to climate change. It would be simplistic to point the finger at one single factor.
