Middle East oil and gas producers’ stance on energy transition

In this interview to Dania Saadi, Herman Wang and Claudia Carpenter from S&P Global Platts, Dr Carole Nakhle, CEO of Crystol Energy, discusses the stance of the Middle East oil and gas producers on energy transition.

Middle East oil and gas producers have been trying to portray the image of responsible nations that recognise the challenge imposed by climate change and the need to tackle it. At the same time, however, they want to extend the life of their most valuable asset, hydrocarbons.
