Dr Valentina Dedi, Vice President of Access for Women in Energy (AccessWIE), spoke at the “Skills of the Future” series hosted by Energy Institute‘s Young Professional Network on Monday 25th October 2021.
Valentina talked about her journey in the energy industry so far, including her current role, how she ended up becoming part of the sector, as well as her involvement with AccessWIE. She also discussed the skills required in today’s fast-moving environment, while she had the chance to debunk some of the common statements that the energy industry is a boring one and the university degree dictates your future career options.
