Central African gas pipeline not a solution for the region’s sustained economic growth

CEO of Crystol Energy, Dr Carole Nakhle, is quoted in this North Africa Post article, explaining why the Central African gas pipeline is not the only solution for reaching sustained economic growth in Central Africa.

Dr Nakhle stresses that it would be too simplistic to believe that the pipeline will lift people out of poverty — the evidence of the resource curse is well documented. It takes much more than a pipeline to support sustainable economic growth.
